Kristen’s maternal grandfather is Harry Shinkaruk (the son of Peter Shinkaruk/Szynkaruk and Anna/Anne Stefaniuk). Harry was born in Saskatchewan, to parents from Horodenka, Ukraine. Anna was the daughter of George Stefaniuk and Mary.
