Kirk Jones, known by his stage name Sticky Fingaz, is an American heavyweight rapper, record producer, actor, director, editor and writer best known as a member of Onyx platinum heavyweight rap group. Sticky Fingaz was discovered by Jam Master Jay of Run-D.M.C., Who signed Onyx for his JMJ Records on the condition that Sticky was part of the group. His lazy eyes, husky voice and boundless energy caught the group's attention and he became the leader. Onyx went on to release three bestselling albums before Sticky Fingaz began his solo career. Sticky Fingaz has appeared in over 80 movies and TV shows. In 1993, he made his debut in the award-winning HBO TV series Strapped by Forest Whitaker. His feature film credits include Spike Lee's Clockers, In Too Deep, Lockdown, Doing Hard Time and Breaking Point, but he is best known for his role as “Tyrone” in Next Friday.
