Ellar Coltrane is an American actor and model. He is known for his starring role in the Richard Linklater film Boyhood, and for the films Fast Food Nation, Barry (2016), The Circle (2017), The Last Movie Star, Blood Money (2017), The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then the Bigfoot, Summer Night (2019), and Shoplifters of the World, and on the mini-series The Good Lord Bird.
His birth surname, Salmon, originates in England. His father is musician Bruce Salmon.
