Robert Allen McAdoo is an American former professional basketball player and coach. He played 14 seasons in the National Basketball Association, where he won the NBA All-Star 5 times and won the NBA MVP title in 1975. He has won two NBA championships with Los Angeles Lakers season of Showtime era in the 1980s. In 2000, McAdoo was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Fame Hall of Fame. McAdoo plays in the middle and in the front. During his 21-season career, he spent 14 years in the NBA and the last seven at Lega Basket Serie A in Italy. McAdoo was one of the few players to have won both the NBA and the FIBA European Champions Cup as a player. He went on to win three more NBA titles in 2006, 2012 and 2013 as an assistant coach of the Miami Heat.
