Astrology Birth Chart of Nostradamus (Poet) 2024
Michel de Nostredame, often Latinized as Nostradamus, is a famous French astrologer, physician and clairvoyant, best known for his book Les Prophéties, a collection of 942 poetic verses for predictions about future events. The book was first published in 1555. The Nostradamus family was originally Jewish, but converted to Catholicism before its birth. He studied at the University of Avignon, but was forced to leave after just over a year when the university closed due to an outbreak of disease. He worked as a pharmacist for a few years before entering the University of Montpellier, hoping to get a doctorate, but was almost immediately expelled after finding out about his pharmacy work in medicine. He first married in 1531, but his wife and two children died in 1534 during another plague epidemic. He fought the plague with his doctors before remarrying with Anne Ponsarde, with whom he had six children.
In 1555, he began publishing his prophecies as a poet, pharmacist, and self-proclaimed prophet. Through the decades, his quatrains have attracted a cult following, whether they were actually prophetic or perceived as such.
