David Debrandon Brown, known as Lucky Daye, is an American singer and songwriter from New Orleans, Louisiana. He has signed contracts with Keep Cool Records and RCA Records. He released his first EP, I on November 9, 2018, and the second EP, II, on February 6, 2019. The EPs were part of the series that led to her debut studio album Painted, which was released on May 24, 2019 .

Painted, her debut album, was released in May of 2019 and features contemporary R&B and soul songs. He went on tour with Ella Mai, an English singer/songwriter, earlier that year.
