3 police officers shot in east Los Angeles, suspect dead after search

Three cops were shot and injured while answering a bring in east Los Angeles Wednesday, police said.

Shots flew close to the crossing point of Mission Street and North Broadway in the Lincoln Levels neighborhood when the three police were struck.

The LAPD said the officials were hurried to an area emergency clinic where they are recorded in stable condition.

“Following intently this evening’s savage experience bringing about 3 officials being shot,” LAPD Boss Michel Moore tweeted. “Reports from emergency clinic have every one of the three in stable condition.”

Two of the injured police were watch officials and the third was a K9 unit official, KTLA detailed.

The shooter supposedly ran away from the area and was killed following an hours-in length search.
